Farsun — Terms of Use
Farsun is a free game with optional online features. Your use of it is covered by Apple's standard license agreement plus the additions below, which cover fair play and the shared multiplayer database.
Agreement and Apple's standard EULA
Farsun is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard "Apple EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, except for the additional terms below, which take precedence where they conflict. By downloading or using Farsun, you agree to both.
Price and purchases
Farsun is free. This version contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising. Nothing in the app costs money.
Online features and fair play
Farsun's leaderboards and Echo Duels rely on a shared environment used by other players. In return for access to those features, you agree that you will not:
- Cheat, tamper with the game, or submit falsified or manipulated scores or run data
- Use exploits, automation, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage
- Submit data intended to harm, harass, disrupt, or grief other players
The game caps how much your leftover enemies can affect another player's run to keep duels fair. The developer may remove leaderboard entries or duel data, or restrict access to online features, where there is reason to believe these rules have been broken.
Gameplay data you submit
By using Echo Duels you agree that the anonymized gameplay data your run produces (described in the Privacy Policy) may be shared with and shown to other players as part of how the mode works. This data is tied only to a one-way hashed identifier, never to your name or account.
Cosmetics and progression
Seasonal rewards, trails, ship variants, colors, and medals are cosmetic only. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged for money, and confer no gameplay advantage. Seasons add new content but do not delete cosmetics you've already earned.
Provided “as is”
Farsun is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Online features depend on Apple services (Game Center, iCloud, and Apple's push notification network) and may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Apple is not responsible
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. As permitted under Apple's standard EULA, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Changes to these terms
If this agreement changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes that affect how your information is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
