Remnants: Eli Vale — Privacy Policy
The short version: Remnants: Eli Vale collects no personal data, contains no ads or tracking, and works without an account. Here are the specifics.
What this app does not collect
Remnants: Eli Vale contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. To be specific, the app does not:
- Collect or transmit your name, email address, phone number, or contacts
- Use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or track you across other apps and websites
- Include any third-party analytics, attribution, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs
- Require an account, sign-up, password, or login of any kind
- Request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, location, or contacts
There is no server run by the developer that receives your personal data.
Game Center (optional)
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Remnants: Eli Vale submits your scores and achievement progress to Apple's Game Center service so leaderboards and badges work. This is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without signing in, and all single-player progress works offline.
Game Center is operated by Apple, and any data handled through it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one. The developer never receives your Apple ID, email, or real name through Game Center.
iCloud sync of your progress
Remnants: Eli Vale can sync your game progress — scores, unlocks, and settings — across your own devices using Apple's iCloud (the iCloud key-value store tied to your Apple ID). This data lives in your personal iCloud account. The developer cannot see it, and it is never sent to any other server.
You control this entirely in iOS Settings: turn iCloud Drive or iCloud for the app off and nothing syncs. Game progress remains stored locally on your device either way.
Screen recordings
Remnants lets you record your runs using iOS's built-in screen recording (ReplayKit). Recordings are created only when you ask for one and are saved on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — a recording leaves your device only if you choose to share it yourself.
If you email feedback
Remnants: Eli Vale offers a way to email feedback to the developer. To help with troubleshooting, the draft message may pre-fill basic technical details such as your device model and iOS version. This is an ordinary email you compose and send yourself — you can edit or delete any of it before sending, and nothing is sent unless you choose to send it.
Links to other services
Remnants: Eli Vale contains links you can choose to tap that open music services (Spotify, Apple Music), a tip page (Buy Me a Coffee), and the App Store. These open in Safari or the relevant app and are operated by those companies under their own privacy policies. Remnants: Eli Vale shares no data with them — following a link is entirely up to you.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because no personal data is collected at all, there is nothing collected from children to disclose, sell, or delete.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes that affect how your information is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
